Posted on A FathimaVerified Best Everything about this hotel was top-notch. The staff was very professional and friendly, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms were spotless and the food was delicious. A perfect stay overall!Posted on RocknRollStarVerified Nice place to stay with a good vibe Really enjoyed our stay here, lovely friendly vibe with great staff who great customer service. We stayed over a week, and had a great time, and the shuttle service to the beach is a god send, although this ends at 7.00pm, and could so with operating later and drop off slightly later as there arent many good restaurants within walking distance. The service at reception could be a little slow, but the hotel was full at the time of our stay, and in spite of this they dealt with all our requests well. Star of the staff is the pool attendant, Arun, who managed the unruly kids using the pool, very well. Also a mention to Parish in the dining area, who was also very he;lpful. Whilst we had a great time, the pool area is too small, and on most days it was impossible to bag one of the few sunbeds. It is for this reason, and its location and unwillingness to allow guests to use the shuttle for even slightly longer distances, the review doesnt get 5 stars.Posted on N KVerified Highly recommend Lovely experience at The Astor Nice quiet location away from the hussle and bustle. Great staff and hospitality. Good great and a lovely stay!Posted on NeeVerified Best place in Goa We stayed in the penthouse villa and were truly amazed by how beautiful the place was. It was exceptionally clean, modern, and the lighting added such a gorgeous touch throughout. This was a surprise booking for my family, and they were absolutely blown away by how stunning the villa was—especially the private pool. We were honestly disappointed that we couldn’t stay longer! The only area for improvement would be the timing information. The hi-tea and happy hour timings listed on Booking.com differed from what the hotel communicated, which caused a bit of confusion.Posted on S UpadhyayVerified Best Hotel of Goa Excellent stay very species rooms and warm staff. Also I forgot my poer bank they called me after 2 days and sent me . Thos is sooo thought full . Best breakfast and Hi tea. Must Must visitPosted on Wander24641406633Verified Best Nice everyone was nice and humble and duty manager soumen took extra care value for money and comfortable stayPosted on D soniaVerified Memorable experience of life Hospitality , politeness, cleanliness, coordination , maintenance , overall memorable experience of life.special mention to duty manager suamen and the entire staff for such support and cooperation during the entire stay Will definitely recommend to many .Posted on NikhilVerified Amazing experience at the Astor Goa We had a wonderful stay at the Astor Candolim in February 2026. The hotel was able to arrange a transfer from the airport to the hotel. Upon arrival we had some welcome drinks and we were shown to our room. The room was very spacious with plenty of room for our family of 4. The room was modern and comfortable and the bed was amazing. I don’t think I’ve ever slept as well as I did in the Astor! We arrived just in time for high tea which was included in our room rate – it’s a nice touch to be able to enjoy some light snacks and tea/coffee in between meals, especially if you arrive mid-afternoon. The pool was nice, with a kids’ splash pool at one end. We would like to especially thank the pool lifeguards Sipu and Arun. We were sitting by the pool while our 7-year-old daughter was playing in the kids’ pool. We got distracted for a couple of minutes and she jumped into the main pool without us realising. Sipu immediately jumped into the pool fully clothed and rescued her. We were very lucky he was there. We were all shaken and my daughter was also afraid to swim again. The following day, Arun offered to teach her how to swim. She had a free swimming lesson every day and was able to progress well in a short time. Happy hour drinks every night from 1800-2000 and live music in the restaurant were also highlights. The singer encouraged guests to sing and my daughters both enjoyed the opportunity. Ravi the magician also entertained us many times. He even taught us a couple of tricks. Food was good with a decent variety. On the one occasion we were not happy with the food (our daughter’s food arrived 20 mins late), the chef personally came to apologise and that was a nice touch. Breakfast is good and I recommend ordering fresh items from the menu (the paneer paratha is especially good). The front desk staff were also helpful and the door staff always greeted us with a warm smile. The free taxi to the beach is excellent and they even dropped us to the local shops which was superb. My wife used the spa for a massage which was nice. The only complaint is that when we checked out, we saw we had been charged for my wife’s massage as well as someone else’s – we had to prove that it was an error (luckily, we had taken a photo of the booking and receipt). The front desk staff had to go to the spa to check that we were correct before removing the charge from our bill. Overall, an amazing experience which we can recommend whole-heartedly. Thank you to all the staff at the Astor who made out stay so memorable.Posted on Culture35860464663Verified ✨ Wonderful Stay & Memorable Anniversary ✨ We had a truly lovely experience during our stay in Goa. The breakfast was absolutely delightful, with a great variety and beautifully presented dishes that made mornings special. The room was well-maintained, comfortable, and thoughtfully arranged, adding to the overall relaxing vibe of the stay. A special mention to the staff – they were extremely polite, attentive, and went the extra mile to make our anniversary memorable by arranging a sweet surprise cake during breakfast. That thoughtful gesture meant a lot to us. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely love to visit again!Posted on YassirpakranVerified A compete gastronomic pool experience in candolim Very good experience Lunch we had was wow.
