We’re a boutique hotel in Candolim, which means we run at a scale where the front desk learns your coffee order by day two.
We sit in Bammon Vaddo, Candolim, 900 metres from Sinquerim Beach, with a complimentary beach drop for guests between 07:00 AM and 07:00 PM. Far enough back from the main strip that you can settle into the quieter side of North Goa.

The word gets used loosely in Goa, so here is what it means at The Astor specifically. 72 suites across five categories, which is small enough that the same team sees you across the whole stay and large enough to keep a 24-hour kitchen running. No two categories share a layout. The smallest is 35 sq. m. and the largest is 4,650 sq. ft.
What it is not: a resort. There is no sprawling campus, no wristband, no queue at the buffet. If you want scale, North Goa has plenty of it four kilometres up the road at Calangute. If you want a boutique hotel in Goa where the staff-to-guest ratio is high enough that things get remembered, that is the trade we have made.
The property opened in November 2023 and is part of Archer Hospitality, which has run hotels since 1999.
